Nobody uses the forums for a good use, whenever people post funny shit it gets removed because its "shitposting", the only real use for the forums is for staff apps and for suggestions why can't people just post funny shit freely (within a limit)

Aside from shitpost appeals, nothing much is being hidden. Forums soley exist for suggestions, appeals, documentation and applications. Having a discord for it would be unreliable and utterly massive. Most of the stuff posted that is hidden is against community rules (slurs, toxicity etc).
