2021 Recap

: Some changes and fixes overlap, due to being fixed, changed and redone over a course of a month and a half. These changes were also while we were on downtown_fade_v3

  • Reinstalled fresh Permaprops due to errors.

  • !warp adminroom : warps staff to adminroom
    • !warp spawn : warps staff to spawn
    • ( Important to note that warp does not work with !return, staff will need to be careful with this until we can create a custom new command, but this will work for the time being)
  • Info page correctly set up to show forums, donate page, steam group and content packs
  • Added simple third person (press c, click on the icon, use it freely)
  • Added Police to all police doors
  • Added banker to all of banks doors

  • Sub group for doctors: Medic. Can be hired by gangs, more info will come later.
  • ALL brand new models for all jobs besides Drug Dealer & Gun dealer.
  • Added (19) Additional new weapons.
  • Added weapons to jobs on spawn that require them.
  • Proper attachments. Gun dealer now sells attachments
  • Gave BMD limited drugs to sell: haemophage, dextradose, muscle relaxant and gunslinger
  • Added old drug system back as seen above
    • a. Anti Toxin: Clears all drugs from your system
    • b. Bouncer: Allows users to double jump
    • c. Crystal Meth: Greatly increases punching power
    • d. Dextradose: Increase lockpicking speed by 40%
    • e. Gunslinger: 25% increased gun damage
    • f. Haemophage: Dealing damage heals you.
    • g. Life preserver: Saves you from near death (literally)
    • h. Muscle Relaxant: Reduces amount of damage taken
    • i. Steroids: 20% faster running speed
    • j. Weed: No way mannnnnn
  • Added new chat indicators above the players head.
  • A new content pack has been added to workshop DL and to the collection. This is to me to add content without forcing a half gig download every time it's updated.
  • Various playermodels have been added including bodygroups for many more jobs. Female citizens notably on request for gender neutralisation.
  • Added Gmod legs script.
  • SitAnywhereScript is on the server.
  • Replaced Permaprops for a seperate addon.
  • AtlasChat added in replacement of Willox' chatbox.
  • !forums implemented.
  • Additional DarkRP commands for ULX have been implemented, as well as ULX-Extended.
  • Added m4 shotgun to gun dealer
  • BMD and GD have 3 slots each
  • Added ranks to scoreboard.
  • Some of proper whitelisting, still a work in progress.
  • Cocaine bricks are now worth 5-7k based on purity.
  • Police armory weapons: Special forces slots too
  • A few changes in weapon pricing, idk theres alot.
  • Anti toxin for both Drug Dealer and the Doctor.
  • No prop killing for anyone
  • Grove street turned into Cartel. I like the blue hue that remains, not like the piss yellow.

  • Police Chief: You now need 8 hour playtime to be voted in.
  • Given fists to all jobs.

  • Additional roleplay props have been added to the server, content pack(s) have been updated accordingly.
  • Hamad, bat and Jimmy paintings have been added to the content pack.
  • Additional props have been added/
  • Deputy is now promoted to Mayor upon original Mayors death
  • Merged Gang stuff into Gang Rules on motd.
  • More clarification for raiding 
  • Hitman slots increased to 2.
  • PCasino has been added to the server and content pack.
    •  Regarding PCasino: Blackjack has been disabled due to technical errors, we've added spin to win and pokies.
    • PCasino has been configured for use. All models are correctly mounted.
  • Shadow Remover Tool.
  • Unisec keypads. All content added to content pack misc 3.
  • Higher time limit on armory being raided. (will adjust as necerssary)
  • K/D on the scoreboard for flex sake
  • Noclip Cloaks staff (hig abuse time)
  • Admin room restrictions, cannot place props or damage players in admin area
  • Trusted+ group, for trusted's who have donated.
  • Admins can spawn weapons with toolgun

Fixes/Changes:

  • FIXED errors with Vapes, Spin n Win, Tazer, Printers, and a few smaller insignificant models
  • FIXED Errors for Police Shielf and Police badges.
  • FIXED Cocaine content not mounting, walking through props/ unusablility.
  • FIXED Police Shield not being operational, It also now spawns default for any S.W.A.T Members.
  • FIXED Name in weapon selection from [PM] Police Shield to "SWAT Shield" to better suit it's purpose and intentions.
  • Restricted tools to their respective groups (User, Donator, Trusted, etc)
  • Fixed handcuffs showing as an error and being unusable.
  • Default weapon(s) assigned to POLICE (P99), SWAT (P99, MP5) and Police Chief (P99).
  • Drug dealer cocaine system configurated
  • [Hotfix] All gov jobs can unlock/lock PD doors.
  • NPC now spawns in the 'iconic' place we remember him from
  • Mafia Boss, Crips Leader, Bloods Leader, Thief, Thief Donator CAN sell cocaine to the dealer. (this encourages stealing and raiding of drug dealer.)
    • Payout per brick is 8-12k (depending on purity of batch)
    • Donator+ have a 0.25% bonus to profits
  • Police Chief now requires a vote
  • Partially fixed OOC and Advert, just need to format it.
  • All drug prices now cost +$1000 more.
  • Cocaine payouts have been re-evaluated.
  • Police Armory can now be robbed under ideal conditions.
  • Bank Vault can now be robbed under ideal conditions
  • Chat bubble remaining beyond chatbox initiation has been fixed.
  • Correct groups own correct doors. (Banker/Government/etc)
  • Seeing through doors has been marked as fixed as issue is unable to be recreated. Please resubmit if there are any further issues.
  • Whitelist has been correctly setup and reverted from being a blacklist. This will help prevent any future issues with props being too large or too destructive.
  • Chat commands have been fixed entirely. (Eg. /dropweapon)
  • /OOC, /Advert, //, /cr and more chat commands have been correctly configured.
  • Players can no longer spawn in ragdolls/effects.
  • Players can now correctly see if they are unable to equip an attachment due to lack of ownership.
  • Gun dealers and BMD's have a limit on how many entities they may spawn, This EXCLUDES shipments for now.
  • Casino Door group to Casino Owner
  • Misc Bank doors to Banker.
  • !steam and !content commands
  • warp system - !warp al
  • !return now works with warps.
  • All weapon crates have been fixed, no more hands 😄
  • Ammo attachments added in (bless)
  • Viewmodels fixed
  • Prop collide fixed more
  • Stacker tool now dosen't instantly no-collide props.
  • You can;t see people through doors anymore
  • Grey models for sniper scopes
  • Fixed Attachment Packs
  • Fixed Ammo Pack
  • Gun dealer now sells ammo and attachment packs
  • Police Armory now actively stays spawned every restart, so its no longer just a model.
  • You can run with all the guns except the M249
  • Most of the whitelisting props, any props you think should be white/blacklisted report to me or Tyger.
  • Fixed chat bubble not disappearing 
  • BMD now sells 4 unique drugs inherent to guns/fighting
  • NLR bubble errors
  • Police now get notified of armory/bank robbery
  • All tools and shiz for trusted and donator seem to be fixed
  • Money printer spam, thanks eclipse.
  • Bank robbery needs 8 players: 2 players, 1 banker
  • Restricted who can force people to change their names (thx eclipse)
  • Props disappearing randomly, entire bases getting deleted (ive recieved no more words on this, so I assume all is well).
  • Formatting descriptions in the F4 menu
  • Gun Titles for the armory weapons
  • Stacker Props don't spawn ghosted anymore.\
  • /advert is now YELLOW
  • Police now can batter down all GOV owned doors, no need for any warrant.
  • Roleplay props shouldn't be blacklisted anymore
  • Tab menu load in bug hotfix
  • You should now be able to properly sell Cocaine.
  • Tab menu ranks should be on next reload.
  • Admin ticket fixes.
  • Weapons not taking correct ammo.
  • Weapon ammo types have been reorganised to suit an easier roleplay experience, These will replace the types shown in the F4 menu and will be combined into the ammo pack:  
    •  Sniper Ammo (5 Bullets, $240 )
    •  Rifle Ammo (30 Bullets, $185)
    •  Shotgun Ammo (16 Shells $210)
    •  Pistol Ammo (12 Bullets, $80)
    •  SMG Ammo (32 Bullets, $150)
    •  Deagle Ammo (7 Bullets, $125)
    •  Heavy-Assault Ammo (65 Bullets, $300)
  • Armory Bug has been fixed
  • Tab menu colours have been fixed
  • Fixed Prop whitelist for most css props
  • !chatcolor works again
  • Pricing for attach/Ammo lowered:
    •  Attachment Pack 1 - $1500
    •  Attachment Pack 2 - $1000
    •  Ammo Pack 1 - $1000
    •  Ammo Crate - $6000
  • Kevlar is now a shipment of 5 sold by the BMD.
  • Attempted fix to allow player audio to be heard at a slightly greater distance, should eliminate any issues with communication.
  • Props failing to spawn/errors in "Roleplay Props" have been removed and/or fixed.
  • MOTD now opens on connect. This may take a while to display the html for the page but this is an issue with gmod clientside.
  • Pocketing Thrusters & Emitters Disabled.
  • Allow walking with tab menu open
  •  Unisec for all? Check in later if broken
  • Armory now gives weapon attachments
  • Mayor and stuff can instantly demote underlings
  • CW 2.0 Update  
  • Better world models for most guns
    •   Updated UI panels
    •   Augmented FPS // Smoother handling

Removals:

  • Removed Bitminers
  • Temporarily removed attachment system entirely til we can resolve issue with attachments showing as owned when they are in fact not. All players will spawn with all attachments default.

  • Lamps from donator (temporary)
